So because summer is pretty much over and we're moving into Autumn, I thought I would take the opportunity to style this two piece while the weather was still kind of suitable. I love co-ords but have found ones with shorts really difficult to fit, mainly because of the fabric. This Missguided set fits me really well as the fabric is light and floaty, but still holds its shape which is great. The crop top can be adjusted so that the straps make a dressier halter neck, which means that it's the ideal co-ord to take from day to night.
I've teamed the two piece with white accessories, so still holding on to the summery vibe and really emphasising the delicate floral print. In the first look, I've gone for white sliders that are super comfy and perfect for a casual day time outfit. Saying that, the white block heels are surprisingly easy to walk in for their height, and the ankle strap makes them even more comfortable. They have a real retro vibe which is really big for A/W and I'm looking forward to wearing them loads in the coming weeks!
Now that its getting a bit cooler, I've added a light weight denim shirt for an extra layer - it tones in really nicely with the baby blue in the print. The shirt keeps the look casual, but still feminine as its light weigh and doesn't drown the delicate shape of the co-ord too much. The pink floral crown adds an extra feminine summery touch and brings together the whole look. I've never really worn a floral head band anywhere other than fesivals, but this one jus matched the co-ord so well that I couldn't resist.
