Checkerboard Dress

I picked up this bargain dress in the ASOS sale. Its River Island Chelsea Girl and I just love the vintage-inspired monochrome check pattern. It says "T-shirt Dress" but its more of a woven fabric, which can make it look a bit more dressy, while the shift style makes it wearable as a casual day dress. I've shown a more casual outfit with my white sliders. To dress it up a bit, I teamed it with black cleated sole heels that are really similar to these Topshop ones, but I picked them up in the Urban Outfitters sale. I've added a hessian clutch, because I think it really picks up the woven fabric of the dress and the black edging tones in with the dress. Its a really comfortable style of dress, and could easily be brightened up with colourful accessories, but I've just gone for a bright red lip.

Bag - Primark
Shoes - Urban Outfitters (similar from Topshop)
