Its hard to believe we're nearing the end of summer, I kinda feel like I'm still waiting for it to start! This time of year can be pretty tricky to dress for because as you all know, our weather is so unpredictable (it starting raining while taking these pictures) and so I've started to swap my slides for trainers as I've been caught out one too many times and ended up with wet feet. I'm wearing my Nike Airforce 1's again - they are just so comfy you wouldn't believe - they've been glued to my feet for the past week.
I picked up this tennis-style dress for just £5 in Primark, I couldn't resist the sport-stripe detailing on the V-neck, and being black and white, thought it would be easy to match with accessories and layers as we sadly come to the end of summer.
I've used a denim shirt, also Primark, as a lightweight jacket that's easy to chuck in your bag if the sun decided to emerge from behind the clouds for more than a few minutes. It's a good lighter alternative to a denim jacket, but has the same oversized look and is perfect for layering.
I'm praying that the sun stays out for at least a few more weeks and we can hold off the woollies for a little while longer...
