I'm loving all the coloured coats that are everywhere this season, but this River Island cocoon style wool one was the one for me. I've seen people calling the colour purple but its definitely a powder/baby blue colour. At first I wasn't sure about the shape, as it is really oversized , but the 3-quarter length sleeves and cute collar really help to keep it from looking ass though its drowning you. I've worn it with my ripped knee jeans, and trust boots. The top is from New Look, although I'm sure Topshop had a very similar (if not the same) one not so long ago. I love the folky pattern and thought that it picks out the blue of the coat quite well, so why not. Although the coat is a little pricey, I can definitely vouch that it is extra cosy and not overly heavy as I hate the feeling of being weighed down and trapped in a massive wooly, scratchy winter coat. If you like the colour but not sure if you're ready to give up the cash, Primark have a really similar coat in a lilac colour that's a little bit cheaper.
